Marilius Mayer‘s 90-minute film of the Anschluss

In 2008 the British newspaper The Independent published an article titled Anschluss and Austria's guilty conscience and wrote:
However, new independent film material about the period was shown for the first time in Germany this week. The colour footage, shown on Germany's ZDF channel, was taken from 90 minutes of film shot by an Austrian forester called Marilius Mayer in March 1938. The film shows images of a provincial town in which the locals have turned out en masse to demonstrate their support for the invading Nazis. The streets are hung with hundreds of red, black and white swastika banners and the town square has been hastily renamed "Adolf Hitler Platz".

Is the footage available online?

Two-part ZDF/Guido Knopp documentary "Hitlers Österreich" (aired on 11th and 18th of March 2008) might be available.

Not so for (spelling according to 1938 address book) Reg.-Forstdirektor Maurilius A. Mayr color footage from Klagenfurt.
Allegedly Guido Knopp himself found these film rolls...Not sure who owns them now...

George,

I think, they are just clips from the movie/docu you were looking for ?
But there is an almost infinite amount of footage and equally modern documentaries on the subject.
Unfortunately, that's all I can share at the moment, but maybe more later...
