Hi all,
Hoping some of you will be kind enough to give me your discerning opinions on an the Order of the Eagle Second Class which I won at a recent auction for 4100 Euro (including comms). I also won an Order of Bath Knight Commander for 2200 Euro.
I haven’t yet finalised the purchase. It was an impulsive decision to bid, I didn’t do my due diligence with respect to the auction house before bidding. I’ve now seen the reviews which are mixed, to put it kindly.
The auction house provide only a single image of the item which is the attached. I also attach their description. They use “I” and “R” in the description for high end items, hopefully shorthand for “Rare!”, rather than “Repro!”Grateful for any input on either item. I’ll gladly proceed with the purchase if items appear authentic.

You would be best to post in the Axis Awards section. There are some real experts there who will be able to help.

Christopher Ailsby (WAR LORD) should be able to offer you an expert opinion.
