Well done, Juha.
I guess I almost always give you a starting point to search for the answer to my questions, with a "Maple Leaf connection"!!
The Fleet Fort was the only WW2 aircraft designed and produced in Canada.

Although fixed, the undercarriage was fitted with a retractable fairing. This feature was intended to familiarize student pilots with an undercarriage retraction mechanism but without causing damage should the student forget.

Thanks, at first I thought it to be some DHC type (the rudder looked like a DH one), perhaps a radial engined Chipmunk variant. But no. Then I figured your pic was of a restored plane, and a museum search gave the name.Aufklarung wrote:Well done, Juha.

Son of the almost King of Finland Friedrich Karl? He at least served in Lappland and according to Dietl would have made an excellent king because he was so lazy.
