Agree.
Also some sort of a possible anti-AH-1 system  lured to my mind...but it would be post-WWII too...

Sorry I was gone so long. Overtime, and like that.

Okay, the first tip is that I read this term in a memoir, written by a German.

Okay, another.... He was W-SS...

Nobody? Okay, the term was used in this particular instance, way up north.

Gee, maybe this was more arcane than I thought! The term was used to describe a piece of enemy equipment.

Okay, somebody take a stab at it, and I'll give it to the person who comes closest!

Alright, the term "mungo" was used in Black Edelweiss, used to refer to Russian mortars. When I asked Voss about it, he said he had no idea where the term came from, but that was what everyone was using when he joined the unit.

Juha, you at least took a shot, so I'll turn it over to you.

Next time, I'll try not to be so obscure.

Similar pic(s) can be found at: http://www.scharnhorst-class.dk/scharnh ... ivors.html
So the "lucky" winner is....Mark V

So its Wilhemshaven??
The vessel could be Gneisenau?
