Hi,

an easy one:

We look after a former austro-hungarian Oberst im Generalstab who became officer in the Bundesheer after WW1 in the twenties, made a politcal career after his retirement and got mayor of Vienna after 1945.

1. What´s his full name?

2. Which political and semi-militarical function did he have after his retirment in 1926 and

3. which after being mayor of Vienna?

Christian

It must be Theodor Körner Edler von Siegringen. After retirement he was an advisor to the social democrat's paramilitary Schutzbund, and after the war he became the second post-nazi mayor of Wien, and later of course, Bundespräsident of the second republic. :)

Hi,

we are looking for a man who was already officer before 1900, then civil servant and politician until WW 1. Back as officer during WW 1 he made an interesting career after 1918 and reached the rank of "General der Infanterie". And he was one of the longest serving ministers in the republic between 1921 and 1934.

1. Who is he?
2. in which branch did he serve as young officer?
3. point out some steps of his political career

Hi,

Vaugoin was 15 times minister of defence.
Now we are looking for a man who was secretary of defence for only 3 days.
What's his name?
And what about his later career?

Hi,

I assume you mean Ernst Rüdiger Fürst von Starhemberg who was not secretary of defence but in his function as vice chancellor "mit der Leitung des BM für Heereswesen betraut" from 26.7. - 29.7.1934.

For his further "career":
