Im actually still trying to identify that person that I posted the picture of,The blond SS guy.

I know that he is part of a group that trained at bad toelz training camp, because of his outfit.but that's about all I know.I was trying to figure out his name.

Also,agentBach...I do not know how it is in England.but in america short cleancut hair like this is popular. Not as long at the top like the photo's posted...But crew cutish haircut's are very popular here. Nearly everyone has them.

Mousse and/or Pomade? :)
Does anyone know of any brand names of men's hair products from the time?

Note the length. Obviously this would have been worn with Pomade to slick it down but in this case a field soldier cant always be ready for his portrait.

A shot of some Kameraden sharing some schießhausparole. Note the length on top is always longer, at least two to two and half inches or longer but blended so that is could be worn slick down. You need the length of top for weight. Note also the sideburns on the capless EM.

Another, this time a Windhund officer with side burns. It should be noted that in many images of Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe or KM soldiers many had longer hair on the sides where as the SS and W-SS tended to really whitewall it.

Kurt Meyer also had his whiskers (?) that long in 1945, when he climbed out of the british plane that got him to Aurich for his trial.

Uniform of a POW means nothing. And Kurt Meyer probably had more important things to think instead of his whiskers.
