Since it has been a while and nobody has taken any guesses at the identity of this piece, I'll take a stab at it.

To me it looks like a German 105mm recoilless rifle, but I haven't been able to match it precisely. It in one way or another resembles the 10.5cm Leichtgeschutz 40 L/13; the 10.5cm LG 42 L/17.5; or the 10.5cm LG 43. But as I say, none of those match your picture exactly.
