AFAIK Argentinian HAFDASA M1927 "Ballester Molina" differ from Colt M.1911 not only with the absence of grip safety but also with differ shape of bolt notches and another construction of trigger.
Me seems it could be Spanish "TAULER" mod. IV or V

Correct answer IS "Ballester-Molina"! :D

There were three types of HAFDASA .45 Autos in Argentina use:
- M.1916 (lycence of M.1911)
- M.1927 (lycence made M.1911a1, slightly modified)
- Ballester-Molina (from 1930s), "original" Argentinian model, heavily influenced by Spanish "STAR" Mod P.

"Praying Mantis" on a Universal Carrier chassis.

One built.

Armament was to be a single Bren from memory ?

Absolutely correct, edward_n_kelly!
The armament of "Praying Mantis" remote controlled SPG was TWO "Brens".

25-pounder Gun Mark I (or 18/25pdr)

The picture continues on the right with an ammunition trailer carrying the traversing platform (Hogg, Allied Artillery of WW2, page 23)

New question, new vehicle.

(actually I would have liked to post the picture of a ship, but was unsure if a ship was an "equipment")

Could it be Canadian half-track snowmobile B-2 (MkI) by "Bombardier Snowmobile" (in production 1937-1944)?

Well, I don't know. My source (a book) lists a different builder, a different building year and a slightly different name. However, surfing the web for confirmation, I could not find a picture of the Bombardier V-2 (nor I could locate a picture of my vehicle... :? ). The two vehicles might be the same, but I'm not sure. Have you any link to a picture of the V-2?

Edit: I can't explain why I've read "B-2" as "V-2"

Sorry, I am misprinted  . Not V-2, but B-2 (or B-12 as civil model) - http://www.k12.nf.ca/gc/SocialStudies/c ... in/b12.jpg (early B-12)
