A real beauty. It's almost certainly a Cadillac used by an American General of Army.

And it could even be Ike's Fleetwood 75 staff car, as depicted on this site.

Beware you all : some day I'll make a post so that the equipment to identify will be Willie, General Patton's bull-terrier.

Hi iffig:

It is in fact General of the Army Eisenhower's 1942 Cadillac staff car.
One source says that it is Amy in the left background.

Over to you

Do you perhaps mean Mamie, the General's wife?

Attempt #6.

Yes Michael, you are correct and I did notice the mistake but did not have time to correct it before the site went down.
The answer to the open question is Crossley IGL3 3 ton 6X4 British GS truck.

Edit: The link is good but does not work here.

Even if the forum presentation has been modified, there is still no limit to Bill's science.
A Crossley, of course, from the site:

OK my friends..

This one has been here long enough.

It is a British Dodge Kew 3 ton 4x2 as used by the Royal Navy.

Question is free to whomever wishes to post.
