Andriy,
These are the relevant pages from Jan Kralik's book. They contain some technical specifications but as I have no Czech I'm afraid that I can't translate them into English other than rozvor being the wheelbase of 2750mm.
The photographs themselves are dark and show little detail. If I'm able to produce better scans I'll upload them for you but I'm not too hopeful.
Thank you so much Rob! This is what I need. I know the Czech language so that for me it is not a problem. The only pity is that the photos themselves are of very poor quality. The photo that Max posted, I saw here on the forum, and the person who posted it did not know how to properly reduce the size, and here is the result. But nevertheless, it is clear that these photos were of good quality. I wonder which book are these photos from?
I searched the internet for these photos, but could not find them.
Here's another photo of him with the same bad result:

Andriy, I'm glad that you find the information I sent of use. It comes from Jan Kralik's book 'Jawa'. I've tried to improve on the standard of reproduction of the images but, I'm afraid, that's the best I can do. I've also tried to find the source of the pictures on the internet, with the same disappointing result - but I will keep on trying.
Regards, Rob.

Max,
Thank you very much for that.
I hope that you don't mind but I'd like to pass the baton back to you. I'm getting prepared for some dental repair work, overdue by several months, and I'm not sure if I'll be up to taking part in the quiz for a few days.
I'll join in again when I'm fit and well.
Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob, thanks for that and best wishes. In turn I choose to pass the baton to Andriy, if he is willing.
Cheers,
Max

If I understand correctly, are these photos of good quality in the book? Is it just that you can't scan them in the same quality?

Thanks Max,
Maybe now that person (I mean Rob) has appeared who will be able to solve my old riddle: viewtopic.php?p=2320781#p2320781

Andriy,
I've tried to achieve better results regarding reproduction of the photos you're interested in but with no luck. The two smaller pictures (front and rear views) are certainly quite dark in the original and show little detail. Sorry - but I'll continue to trawl the internet and try to find clearer images.
Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob,
Thank you very much for your help.
So those photos that Max and I posted are not from this book?

How about the quiz question I asked in the post above?

Andriy

Andriy,
The three photographs in question are all from the book 'Jawa' by Jan Kralik. I bought my copy from Peter Milbank-Jones who trades as Bohemia Hobbies from Kent in the UK.
I've looked on Ebay and Peter has a copy for sale priced at £21.99 plus postage; I entered Ebay and searched 'kralik jawa'.
I will keep looking for the photos on the internet, of course.
Regarding the quiz question: I'm stumped!
Regards, Rob.

Stumped as well: The only references I have found; e.g. http://autotalks.com.ua/skoda-praga-i-t ... oslovakii/ ; say a 1932 Skoda 6STP6 prototype with a 85 hp engine but that answer seems basically taken since Max posted a Skoda 6STP6 pic in his original answer (which was duly accepted with Max already having continued the quiz).

Rob, I meant these photos - viewtopic.php?p=2343868#p2343868 and viewtopic.php?p=2344058#p2344058 they are from some other source, as you can see that the quality is much better than in your book. I need to find the source.

Why spend that kind of money on a book if it has poor quality photos? I'm only interested in good quality photos so that I can see the details. Anyway, thanks for helping me find images of this interesting car. Maybe in the future we will be able to find them.

Andriy

Markus, bravo!
Finally, the absolutely correct answer. Only the prototype was equipped with a 100 hp engine. The photo posted by Max is a 1941 Škoda 6S, while the 1936 production model had a less streamlined cockpit and a different headlight design called the Škoda 6STP6-LD:

Please continue.

Thank you,

Next up, a somewhat less ambitious cargo vehicle from exp. eBay.de (make and model name smudged)
