Hi Sturm,
That photo is very interesting. It appears to be rigged as a glider winch, similar to this Maybach roadster here:

Hi Sturm 78,
for me it is the type Merkur III. Have a look on the list of Reichsbahn-vehicles here in this thread # 8:
license numbers 26.000 - 26.999 3t Hansa-Lloyd-Goliath (mit Deutzmotor).
The type Merkur II had a MWM Diesel engine, the type Merkur III a Deutz Diesel engine.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Photothread: Road Vehicles of the Deutsche Reichsbahn
Hello,
Here are two more photos of the Henschel three-axle steam locomotive. I think it was also intended for the Deutsche Reichsbahn?
I wonder how many were produced?

Hi,
here an interesting pic, that shows the very rare "KdF beetle", a predecessor of the VW Beetle. Only a few hundred of these cars are been built in Germany and only a handful of them survived the war. The Deutsche Reichsbahn requisitioned private cars since 1941. Source of the pic and information:

Hi,
here a pic of a truck which was running in commission for the Reichsbahn. I think it is a Czechoslovakian Tatra type 24/59.

An interesting photo of a VOMAG 5 ZR 434 Eilschlepper with two DR plates: DR-63005 indicates a vehicle over 5 t payload and DR-0133 indicates that it is a test vehicle (I think).
Cheers,
Max

Re: Photothread: Road Vehicles of the Deutsche Reichsbahn
Hi Max,
thank You very much for posting this very interesting pic of the VOMAG truck.
The license plate DR-63005 indicates indeed a vehicle over 5 t payload. So it is a VOMAG type 6 L or 6 LR with 6 or 6,5 t payload. Here a pic of the VOMAG tractor for comparing (source: "VOMAG - eine Legende in Bildern" by Christian Suhr & Ralf Weinreich).
The license plate DR-0133 indicates that it is a test drive. That´s the reason why the truck has two license plates.
Best regards
Bert
