Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi uncle,
sorry, I forgot to give an answer to Your before last question.
I´m sure, that You are right. It is a Bernard truck. I think it could be the type H 8.53.
"H" stand for a gasoline engine, "8" for the cylinders and "53" for wheel base of 5,30m.
Unfortunatyl I don´t have a pic of this truck, only of a bus and a van (source: "Camions Bernard - Segneurs de la route" by Gilbert Lecat).
Best regards
Bert

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm,
That is a rare bird.
It is a Morris-Commercial CD, a 6x4, six-seat, Command/Recce car.
It is one of a batch of only 80 examples produced in 1935-36, so uncommon even in British service.
Well spotted!
Kerry.

Re: Vehicle identity requests
Hi Sturm 78,
You are right, it is the type L 6500 with the old cab, built from 1935 until 1937. This is a dump truck, so it got the designation
LK 6500 (K = Kipper = dump).
Here a pic of such a truck. Source of the pic: https://www.pinterest.de/pin/753227106410392984/
Best regards
Bert

I have 2 unknown trailer.
First is a one axle trailer with a civil plate. Is this a one axle water trailer??? or a tank trailer???
the second is a 2 axle in rebuilt. I think this trailer was to high for train transport. What type is it???
I think interessting is the rear axle , for me looks like a " Drehstabfederung" I dont know the english word![]()
I never saw this on a trailer.
best regards
Henning
The 2 axle trailer is british made, by Brockhouse. The torsion suspension system can be seen.
