Hi Kerry, hi Alif,

here an addition: the pic was made 12th February in Tripoli, Lybia, during a parade. The unit must be the 4th or 5th light AA battery (20mm), I./AA regiment 33 (mot.) (Luftwaffe), 5th Leichte Division. So the vehicle is a "leichter Flakkraftwagen" Kfz. 81 (light AA motor vehicle).

Best regards

Bert

Alif,
The first car (above the senior officer's elbow) looks like an Opel to me, possibly an Admiral, and the second car looks like another Opel, this one a Kapitän.
As for the third one, it might be a Horch but I'm much less sure.
I'll be interested to see what others think.
Rob.

The Horch is probably an 830 BL. That's just my guess, but it sure looks like one.

Here's a couple of Beute Bedfords.
One's been converted into a kfz 15 but the other one looks like a Kommandeurwagen to me.
Any thoughts?

Hi Rob,

what an interesting pic! Thanks a lot for posting!
There were posted two pics of the Bedford Kfz. 15 in the thread "Umbauwagen":
first pic posted by Jose85 23 March 2018
second pic posted by ilfil 26 March 2022.
And I know that Kerry has a pic of the other car, Bedford Kommandeurwagen.

Best regards

Bert

Bert,
Thank you for posting the very interesting Bedford kfz 15 images. Mine came from the website armorama.com which features a preview of a 1:35 scale model of the Bedford kfz 15 as well as photographs of the vehicle in use.
The website Maple Leaf Up is also worth investigating if, like me, you're interested in captured and converted soft skin vehicles.
Best wishes, Rob.

Hi Rob & Bert,
Here's another one:
Bedford MWD Umbau (2).jpg
Kerry also has a nice umbau kommandeurwagen pic in his collection but I'll let him have the honour.

Hi Max and Bert,
Here is one of two shots I have of this car, both taken at the same time from slightly different positions.
I am sorry that my usual paranoia has made me blur the faces, but I hope the car is clear enough. From the, just visible, driving light on the far wheel arch I think that this is the same vehicle seen in the previous post.
Cheers,
Kerry.
