This one is way out of my normal field of research, but...

It actually has at least a half dozen ID items that seem to be identical to either a Benz 16-50 PS (1921-1926) or the Mercedes Benz 16-50 PS of 1927.

Am I close??

I have looked again, the radiator badge is not decisive, but the fuel filler cap on the scuttle has me convinced that I am wrong, it is a Gaz A. Bert, it is yours, Max I am truly sorry to have been so crap at identifying my own photo. The record is amended, Gaz A and the thread is now yours Bert.
