I believe you just answered a question I posted some time ago in Vehicle Identity Requests concerning this lorry with a strange crew-cab: Thanks very much!

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi,
excuse me, please, for my late answer. I had a hard day and no time to answer.
Sorry for my bad English. I didn´t want to evoke misunderstanding.
It is no Czech, not a VOMAG.
Markus, You are very close. MAN didn´t produce the type L 1 as a bus.
Regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Markus,
it is the MAN type Z 2. The type Z 2 was only a bit smaller than the very similar MAN type L 1. But You was so close with Your answer, that I think You are the winner and You should go on with the quiz.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Can anyone tell the nationality of the bus from either the license plate or the sign above the windscreen? As far as I can tell it might indicate Dubyak in Macedonia? Maybe a Greek bus?

Hi Max,
It is definitely somewhere in Yugoslavia, for the transport company name "Dabyak Brothers" is written in Serbian both in Cyrillic (on the left) and alphabet.
Cheers!

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thanks Bert,
Although I had half hoped that someone would type the Z 2 part and get me off the hook.
New subject from exp. eBay.de. Original crop; Again some photographist though that people are more interesting than vehicles.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Markus,
The original photographer didn't have this quiz in mind otherwise he would have cropped out the Horch "H" on the wheel hub. It's a Horch 830. The doors on the 830 R are closer together so I'll go with an 830 BL kübel.
