Hi Max,

after a long search I think that I could find the type of the vehicles on Your pic: Ford V 8 Spezial. Here a pic of this vehicle maybe from the same unit.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert,
Exactly! I wondered if these were umbaus, but there are at least 4 in the pic and they look professionally turned out. Are they from Ambi-Budd do you think?
Well done, and please proceed.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Bert,
Austro-FIAT Type SBM or SRM. I think probably the smaller SBM.

OK, maybe an FD 6? It looked too small for a 6 tonner to me though the bonnet vents look correct now.

Hi Max,

an excellent ID! My compliment! You are that it looked too small for this heavy truck, but it is the special perspective.

Please go on with the quiz.

Best regards

Bert

Hi dirk,
No, I'm sorry it's not Graf & Stift.
(Sorry for the delayed response. My advice to all is to ensure your internet bill is paid on time if you value uninterrupted service  )

As a Christmas gift I give you a clue:
As seen in the photo this bus had to be fixed or repaired daily.
Cheers,
Max

Hi Rich,
Excellent. Underneath that plumbing and exotic bodywork is a '37 Ford chassis, but the engine should be either the 85 HP V8-77 or V8-79.
I apologize to my non-American friends for using the term, but Fix Or Repair Daily is an old expression that Chevy or GMC owners use when referring to Fords.
Anyway here is a more standard looking version of a '37 Bus:

OK Rich, take it from here.

Thanks Max - I will dig thru my pics and come up with something. I also like Found on Road - Dead to describe the blue ovals
