Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Another clue; Haitians speak French not Spanish. Either the pic was taken in the Dominican Republic, possibly Santo Domingo, or that is where the buses came from. I haven't seen a complete list of the countries which were visited by the ship on that cruise.peeved wrote: ↑14 Mar 2019, 22:36So the Haitians drank Dominican beer: https://www.facebook.com/historiadomini ... 011247089/

Or, I guess it's possible that Haiti imports some Dominican beer though they certainly have their own breweries.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Rich,
A fairly generic looking Phaeton, I'd guess either a Ford Model A or GAZ A from around 1929.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thanks Rich,
You must be talking about the "455" air conditioning we used to have in high school: open 4 windows and go 55 miles per hour. Ah, those were the days.
Anyway here is the new quiz problem:

Hi uncle,
Yes you are correct. Good ID. To me it is based on the 1,8 liter 1933 model I compare here, but it could be the 1,2 liter as well. Please proceed with your new problem for us.
