Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Rich,
I couldn't resist. For our non-American friends who may not know, Bob Seger's "Like a Rock" was the Chevrolet truck TV commercial theme song back in the '90's.
Well done Bert, that was a tough one.

Hi Rich, hi Max,
thanks, but without the hint it would have been impossible for me to ID this vehicle.
Here my next question: who van ID this bus of the Wehrmacht, former Reichspost?
Best regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bert,
I think it is a MAN. It looks similar to a Z2 but the Simplex rims lead me to believe it is heavier. The F4/F5 chassis has these rims I'm not sure if they made it into a bus. Am I at least on the right track?

Hi Bert,
After some searching I came across this book advertisement picturing a MAN bus fitting your description. Unfortunately still no Type number!

Hi Max,
very good! You are on the right track. And You are right: it is not the type Z 2, not the type F 4/F5. But the pic of the bus You posted is excellent, exactly the type on the pic I posted. Please, go on!
Best regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bert,
I'm not really confident in this answer but is it a Type MP? If not maybe someone else can step up and grab this one.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Max,
excellent! You got it exactly! My compliment, because it was not so easy to ID this vehicle as a MAN bus.
Here a good pic of such a bus (source: "Reichspost-Album" by Volkhard Stern).
Please, go on with the quiz.
Best regards

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thanks Bert,
That certainly was a challenge, at least for me.
You may be able to tell from this next Quiz problem that I am running out of conventional vehicles to post:
