Hi uncle,

thank You very much. Here is the next question: who can ID this truck of the Luftwaffe?
Good luck!

Hi Bert,
I believe it's a Tatra T 81, in fact the same Tatra T 81 as in this pic:

Hello Bert,
Thanks for the compliment but I am certainly no expert, only an enthusiastic student of the real experts here on the Board. Anyway here is my contribution to the quiz:

Hi Max,
It looks a bit like a DKW F5 Meisterklasse, but I have never seen a kuebel of this type, so I somehow doubt it. The wheel hubs and louvres are very similar.
Cheers and a Happy New Year,
Kerry.

Hello Kerry,
Excellent detective work! It is indeed a DKW as you can see by the hubs in the original unedited photo here:

I know nothing further about the car except, as you say, it has a strong resemblance to the Meisterclasse. In fact it appears identical to the 1935 F5 from the front bumper up to the cabin:

Well done, and please carry on.

It's a long shot but could it be a Hansa

Rocketman, it is similar, but Max has nailed it. Well done Max, you have control!

Hi Kerry and Bert,
My initial reaction was also Hansa 1700, the nose looks very similar without the Hanomag Adler badge. Both beautiful roadsters!
For the next quiz here's one not so glamorous but still a pretty nice vehicle:

Hi Dirk and Happy New Year,
Sorry but it's not a Buick. Overall they look similar but there are many small differences apparent under careful scrutiny. You are on the right track though, so keep looking at other marques of that era.
Cheers,
Max
