Hi Max,

that should be a Büssing VI GLn of the Saxon State Police with 35 seats.

Best regards

Hi Bert,
Yes indeed it is http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... i_gl1.html. How can you tell they are the Saxon SP? Very good answer, please continue.

Hi Max,

thank You very much!
To Your question: I have the book "Die Kraftfahrzeuge der Polizei und des Bundesgrenzschutzes" by Werner Oswald. There is the information, that the Saxon SP had ten of these so-called "Großkraftwagen" about the year 1926.
Here is my new question: who can ID this vehicle?

Best regards

Bert

Hi,

it´s time for a hint.
This vehicle was not produced in Germany, but in Europe.

Hi Bert,
I've noticed that bumper style on several Czech trucks. Is it Czech?

Max

Hi Bert,
Is it a Raba licensed by Krupp? Krupp was my first thought but that upper row of bonnet louvers was unusual. Judging by the wheels it's about a 3-3,5 Tonner.

Hi Max,

thanks a lot for Your answer. I´m sorry, it is not a Raba licensed by Krupp. Your judging by the wheels is very near: it is a 2,5 Tonner.

Best regards

Bert

Hello Bert.
I suspect that we should be heading towards the Mediterranean for the answer?

Hi Rob,

thanks for Your reply. Your suspection that You should be heading towards the Mediterranean for the answer is not bad. So the license for this truck came from there!

Bert
