Hello Max.
I think that the vehicle is a Horch. As for the model, I'll hazard a guess at a 670?
Regards, Rob.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Rob,
Well done, To me it's a Horch as well, possibly a Type 670 (usually they had spoked wheels and 3 piece windscreen though). Here is the 2 fenster cabriolet to compare: But I don't think it's an 830. Another consideration is the Rohr 8 Type F, which is practically identical In any case, please continue with the quiz

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Max,
Thank you very much for that.
I must confess, I never considered the Rohr and I missed the details you mention ie the spoked wheels and the 3-piece windscreen. I wonder if we'll ever be able to identify the vehicle with absolute certainty.
Anyway, here's my response.
The nearest of the three cars is the one in question.
Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob,
Yes, a Kübelwagen! To me it is a Hanomag 4/20 PS, Kfz. 1.

Hello Max,
Yes, you're right, it's a Hanomag 4/20, one of the earliest examples of a Kübelwagen; I know of one or two photos of these vehicles in which the number plates bear the letters RW rather than WH.
Once again well done and over to you.
Rob.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for that great pic of the Hanomag Kübels. I hadn't seen that one before.
Here's a tractor for the new question:

Hello Max.
The curly towing hooks made me think that the tractor unit originates in France which ties in with your clue but other than that I'm stumped.
I'll just have to keep digging!

Hi Max,
thanks a lot for Your cryptic clues. Really great!
So I can say, that the tractor is a F.A.R., but I don´t know the exact designation.
Best regards
Bert

Hi Bert,
Well done! About the designation all I know is that it is a Chenard & Walcker FAR tractor;http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... R/far.html
Here is another one in it's more common role hauling a workshop trailer: Please carry on.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hello Bert.
I think that the car in your photo is a Tatra; as for the model, perhaps a 52?
The styling is fairly distinctive but I'm not sure about the details. All I can say is it looks too big for a 75.
And well done for picking up the clue and identifying the tractor unit in Max's question. I was lost and floundering!
