Hi Max,

what a great question! And I already thought that I could find the right model. What a fallacy! I didn´t know that the models of Federal and Studebaker are so simil. Actually I didn´t give the right answer to Your question. With Your permission I will continue with the quiz.
Here is my next question:
Who can ID this fallen over truck?

Best regards

Bert

Hi,

it is time for a hint.
The truck was produced in Germany.

Much luck!

I have been thinking Opel Blitz 3,6 for a few days now but can't get a 100% match on that tailgate, and the differential housing seems to be different. Other than that I'd be just guessing.

Hi Max,

congratulations! You got it! It is an Opel Blitz 3-tonner 3,5 - 36. You are right, that the model You posted doesn´t have a 100% match on the tailgate, and also the differential housing is different. The Opel Blitz on Your pic is of the first troop carrier model, the Opels Blitz on the pics I posted are of the second cargo model.
I´m so glad, that You solved the question. So it is Your turn to go on with the quiz.

Best regards

Bert

ThanksBert,
Thanks for pointing out those differences between early and later production. I guess I need to do some more reading on Opel 3 tonners. In any case here's another lorry for the new quiz:

Hi Max,

thank You very much for the hint.If it is born in Bremen, than it can only be a Borgward. So it could bge a 5-tonner without a special designation.

Best regards

Hello Bert,
Nice Job! As we all know Borgwards can often be difficult to identify, but I believe as you do that this is a 4,5-5 tonner with standard open cab as depicted on Holger's site here:

Congratulations and please take another turn.

Hi Bert,
I don't know where everyone else is but to me it is a 1936 Chevrolet Standard Sport Sedan.

Hi Max,

congratulations to the excellent ID! You are perfect! It is really a pity that apparently we are the only two persons who are interested in this quiz or our questions are too difficult.
Nonetheless. Please, go on with the quiz.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Max,
wanted to take a shot at the quiz! It looks to me like a Büssing NAG 900, a three-axis schwerer Lkw. It could carry 9t.
