Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thank you, Rob
That was a little tricky. You didn't leave much to go on. Or rather the enemy ordnance didn't leave much. Anyway here's an interesting Mannschaftwagen in service of the Bulgarian Army:

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Max,
thank You very much for the hint. I think it is a Dodge, model 1937 M-series, but I cannot say, what type it is, maybe ME or MF for 1 1/2 tons.
Best regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bert,
Very good. I agree it is a 1937-38 American Dodge chassis, but where the European style Mannschaftwagen coachwork was applied is unknown to me. Congratulations and please carry on!

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Max,
thanks a lot. I was trying to find the coachbuilder and I was succesful:
it was the Bulgarian coachbuild factory Gabrovski Bros. in Ruse.
Here a pic of this factory with an Opel Blitz bus type W 39 built in this factory.
I need some time to find a new answer.
Best regards
Bert

That's great work, Bert. I have no knowledge of Eastern European coachbuilders. Thanks for your research.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi,
sorry for the bad quality of the pic. It is out of a book. Here a better and smaller pic.
And a hint: it is a German car.
Regards
Bert

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bert,
As we all know, those bloody Borgward/Hansas can be a bit confusing but I think this is a '39 Borgward 2300 Kabrio Berline or possibly a 2000.

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Thank you Bert,
Here we have an interesting double cab semi-tractor. The photo is a little blurry but I think the details are clear enough for a positive ID. Good luck!

Re: Axis Non-Armored Vehicles quiz
Hi Bert,
Very well done! There were only a few ID points visible but you are correct. I'm not sure about the cab, to me it looks possibly Dutch or Belgian. What do you think?
Anyway now it's back to you for the next question.
