Hi Jose,

You are right. On the first pic is a captured Soviet motor sled (aero sled). It is the type NKL 16 model 37 (НКЛ 16 модель 37). This is the ambulance variant. Here two pics of this motor sled (source of the pics: http://alternathistory.com/content/tran ... ki-chast-2). The motor sleds on pic 2 and three are German ones. But I have no idea, which company produced these ones.

Hi all,

An image from Ebay. I think an NKL-6S Soviet aerosled (or his Finnish copy MR-42S)

Hi Sturm 78,

for me it is the Soviet aerosled NKL 16/37. Here a pic of this aerosled (source: https://yandex.com/search/?text=%D0%B0% ... &lr=112356).

And I found another source. There is mentioned that the Germans also copied this aerosled: "Расскажу про аэросани что слышал и не нашел записей об этом в интернете. Немцам достались аэросани НКЛ-16/37 трех-лыжной схемы и они их скопировали." (http://waralbum.ru/bb/viewtopic.php?id=49&p=4). Or is this a mistake, because only the finns copied this aerosled?

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert,

Well, it is quite difficult for me differenciate between NKL-6 and NKL-16 M1937 models...

According to the book " Aerosan. Soviet aero-sleighs of WW2" from Tankograd, only the Finnish copied the Soviet model NKL-6 /16 and can be that they sold some of them to the Germans.

The Germans have his own model, very different...(see my image posted on 05 Oct 2018 )

Hi Sturm 78,

thank You very much for Your reply. Now I know, that only the Finns copied the model NKL 16/37.

Here a pic and a drawing of the aero-sleigh NKL 6, the other designation is OSGA-6. I think that it is possible to differentiate. The start of this project was in 1933 and the first prototype appeared 1934.

To the German model: it was produced by Henschel.

Best regards

Bert
