Unmarked Panthers during testing/training

Postby Panther Arthur » 06 Jan 2011 20:16

Here is a bit of new photo topic. These Panthers are brand new for the most part, and these are training shots as well as testing/development shots.

Feel free to add photos of your own.

More photos. If any are from an deployed/ operational unit in the field, do correct me.

Middle one has a Panther on the right.

Bottom one has the same log bridge things from I/Pz Rgt 4 in Italy.

Thanks
Arthur.

More photos. The bottom two are evaluation shots taken by the US military with a former Panzer Lehr Panther. I believe the top one is a training exercise in Germany.

Comments?

The top one looks like driver training and the bottom 2 have factories where they were built in the background.

A driving exercise in the mud. My apologies for having to rotate the photos. Don't know how to quickly downsize to fit forum requirements.

Do discuss.

The top one looks factory fresh-but it could be a captured Ausf A-taken off for evaluation. Not sure.

The bottom 2 are during field exercises.

No tactical markings.

A factory fresh example with the serial number on the mantlet, followed by driving/towing exercises. Still mid-war, you can see how meticulous the Germans were about crew training.

These training shots with ditched Panthers are a continuation of the last posts.
