Brano, that is very interesting, all that I've read suggests that the VK20-01(D) never got past the drawing stage so I'm very interested to hear more about the source of your photograph. Sadly the only thing that comes up o a google search these days is the World of Tanks crap which has it as a type of Panzer III

Hi Brano,

with Your permission, Brano, I will ask the next question: Who can ID this armoured vehicle? (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).

Regards

Bert

That's a Selbsfahrlafette known as Sturer Emil I think.

Hi Ifor,

very good! You are right! It is a 12,8cm Flak 40 Selbstfahrlafette , VK 3001 H. Only two of this vehicle were built. So it´s Your turn to go on with the quiz.

Regrads

By the look of it, it was built in Llanelli! We used to build much better ones in Swansea. As per normal you are right Alan, over to you.

Thanks Ifor, not for the Rugby of course!

It is becoming harder to find odd things to test everyone, perhaps this cropped pic will stump you all for a while, but probably not.
