Sodomka/Karosa WW2 era military bodies

Hello,
while looking for some other stuff, i find an old folder with WW2/postwar era photos of Czechoslovak Sodomka company coachbuilding work. I downloaded the pics some 8-10 years ago on internet-so i couldn´t find an accurate link with source. I know there were some AHF rules changes... ( I doubt the website exists anymore) The information and copy source for the Sodomka archive photos it is probably Vysoke Myto city museum. But I think they are mostly focused on civil/commercial stuff.

Some of the photos (like the Skoda 256 Ambulances) are spread on the net with many copies, but the other are quite mysterious-were they made for some Axis army or Czechoslovak postwar?

Hi Jose and Ilian:

A very interesting post and subject.

I cannot add much to Sodomka bodied military vehicles, most of my collection about that coachbuilder is concerning civilian vehicles.

I do have though, a fairly large online photo collection of Czechoslovakian military soft skins that I could share here if we agreed to make a new thread dealing with that subject. I have photos of Skoda/Praga/Tatra/Walter/Wikov/Aero and so on vehicles both in Czech and German use.

Do you think such a thread would be useful??.

Hi Bill!
What a question indeed. Of course everything concerning softskins would be useful!
I'll answer your mail later, was too busy last days to do it. Sorry about that.
Cheers!

Recovering the old thread with a bit info...

The last "Sodomka" book. Even it is mostly focused on civilian coachbuilt, there are some military items pics. Two examples shown:
