Re: Military Sleeper Cab trucks
I'm sure you are wrong, as the Type 8 LR 658 has a longer wheelbase.
For comparison, I present to you the DL 57 model (wheelbase - 570 cm) and what is shown in the advertisement:
As you can see, the top image has a noticeably longer wheelbase. It is necessary to be guided by facts, due to numerous errors in signatures, even in old reference books. I think the ad shows a model 8 LR 652 or 8 LR 654.
Regards
Andriy

Re: Military Sleeper Cab trucks
A French cute guy from the thirties, most likely a Renault. Thanks to the person who posted the photo on Facebook. Very rare photo, although there were many very interesting trucks in the thirties, but there are very few pictures of old trucks on the internet. There are a million pictures of Mercedes Actros truck and about fifty pictures of Mercedes L 10000. Most are interested in modern cars, which is a pity. And there is almost no interest to the truly valuable photos of trucks from the thirties. Modern journalism responds to the demand, which has nothing to do with history, and it's a pity. So I appeal to all history buffs who own photos of old trucks. Friends, popularize history, share pictures of old trucks!!!

Hi Dima,
Yes, the French truck above is definitely a Renault, something like this but an earlier model:
