Factory painting
Were the tools and cables, for the Panzers, painted at the factory? I have looked at many pictures mainly Tiger I and Tiger II and appears not. Either that or the paint wears off very quickly from use. I have some pictures (can not figure out how to post) of some factory fresh Panthers and it appears the tools were painted.
