IS-2 in German use, 1944
The following picture comes from an Estonian newspaper Eesti Sõna 19 September 1944. The picture is taken by war correspondent Artur Stiege and the picture accompanies an article describing combat near Tartu (Dorpat) in August or September 1944. Although the quality of the picture is awful I thought that pictures of IS-2 in German use are probably rare and thus decided to share it here.

87.I.D. had in Estonia at least one "Stalin Panzer" in it's 187.Pz.Jg.Abt., not sure if it was used as fighting or just towing vehicle.
Captured probably during August in fighting in SE Estonia between Võrtsjärv and Latvia from some unit subordinated to 1. Schock Army.

PzJg.Abt.187 has also probably SU-76 in it's inventar, for example, for 19. September 1944 following is reported:

Der Feldw. Geskens und seine Richtschütze Ogefr. Schott schossen mit ihrer Sfl. 7,62 (r) am 19.9. im Raum von Pädja (Bhf.) 6 Feindpanzer ab, verhinderte damit einen feindl. Panzerdurchbruch in den Rücken der Division. G. sprengte, umringt von 11 feindl. Panzern, am Abend seine durch Kettenschaden ausgefallene Sfl. und schlug sich in der Nacht mit der gesamten Bedienung zu seiner Abt. wieder durch.
