Hi,

This is a converted 'schwerer geländige Einheits-Pkw', the heavy standard German military passenger car, often used for towing smaller artillery pieces.

The base vehicle is often referred to as a 'Horch 108 Typ 1a' etc. About 10,000 were made in the war, 85% by Horch, the remainder by Ford.

Not many were converted in this way.

Cheers
Steve
