Bill Murray

Post by Maxschnauzer » 16 Nov 2017, 05:35

Hello friends,
Sadly, I just learned from Bill Murray's family that Bill passed away on 19 September. Bill was a colleague and mentor to many of us here at AHF and his friendly persona and unsurpassed expertise will surely be missed. Rest in Peace and Semper Fi, Marine.
Cheers,
Max

I was afraid that this was the case. He has been and will be missed! Great man, gentleman and a scholar.

What a huge loss to both his family and the collecting world. His kindly contributions will be, indeed already are, greatly missed.
Rest in peace Bill, from one who benefited hugely from your vast knowledge.
Kerry.

It's a pity. Let the heavens will take his soul.

Hi Bill,

You was my example, You was my mentor and I learned so much from You. You will be missed, especially from me. But You will live in the hearts of me and many members of the Axis History Forum.

Rest in peace, my dear friend!

He is not anymore here with us, but he surely will remain in our hearths.
He helped me to join to AHF and was once a godfather for my daughter.
Rest in peace.

Its a shame that such a knowledgable, kind and giving man is no longer with us. I enjoyed his posts and added to my knowledge through him

RIP Bill.

He knew a lot and was eager to share his knowledge.
Un grand monsieur.
He will be missed.

Very sorry to hear this. He was very knowledgable, and must have helped hundreds of people on this forum.
