I just want to know the source for that because I read it sometime and when I made some research about it,all it come is doubt.

Spielberger's Special Panzer Variants mentions a shared turret design with the E 50 that was being designed by Krupp, but that was in the book since at least the '80, together with things like the E-100 using a Maus turret, and since it wasn't reported in the newer Panzer Tracts, I suspect they might have not been able to find the actual design, maybe not even the original reference talking about an actual turret design being developed, as Doyle stated they chose to only write what they find in original documents in that book series. Hilary Doyle also shared an original document with weight calculations showing a Panther D like turret, possibly just for reference on the turret placement position.
