how many Sturmtiger where ordered/produced during the war?

in the book ""Die deutschen Panzer 1926 - 1945" by F. M. von Senger und Etterlin there is the information, that 18 Sturmtiger were built 1944.

Yeah 18 is what I have got and seeing they where built late in 1944 with the last made in December, I would have thought that 18 was the limit.
I think the number was restricted because they converted existing Tiger Is and by that stage in the war Tiger Is would be scarce.
I also think that they needed those types of vehicles earlier in the war because they are more of a offensive weapon mainly made to take out strong points, but at this stage in the war the only strong points that were being taken out were German ones.
