Hi,

On September 9, 1944, the 503rd heavy Tank Battalion ordered to refit. What KStN did the HQ & HQ Company use to refit? KStN 1107b(fG) dated 01.06.44 or another set?

Hey Mike,

That is correct, it was 1107b (fG) 1.6.44.

Richard,

Thanks for posting the document. Now I need to find out what kind of SPWs were used in the armored recon section with the HQ company since the 251/5 does not exist.

Well, I don't why I didn't think of this earlier but I headed over to Sturmpanzer.com and downloaded the Sd.Kfz 250 and 251 delivery documents. I found the s.Pz-Abt. 503 add taken delivery of eleven Sd.Kfz. 251s in June 1944. Mystery solved.
