The projectile looks machined, I wonder if it has a driving band.

This video has some really good slow-mo compilations. Critical Mass would love this.

I've heard somewhere they aren't allowed to fire real rounds (or they simply aren't available) so they have to make their own inert ones.
But still, private ownership of such hardware and two random YouTubers making such impressive videos are only-in-the-US things.

They also use old artillery propellant.
That big shell was deflected by those watermelons...where it landed...who knows. Maybe Mexico...
The 76mm projectile is pitching....not yawing...yeah, random guys...

I don't think there were driving bands. Looks like some sort of cardboard patching as some debris comes out the barrel behind the shell.

The prices are:
D20 - $1950 for the first round ($750 each additional one),
Sherman - $2,800,
T-34 - $3,500.

A cautionary tale.... I wouldn't want to be at one of those shoots
In the M10 3", there is a cardboard piece in stock form, but in a 76mm, like the sherman or Hellcat, there shouldn't be one. But what these guys do, and if there are regulations, would be interesting to know...

This is why they shoot the main tank guns from outside the turret, for safety reasons.
