I found another photo of the "packetwagen" being towed out of mud by a local and his tractor.SIS 5 wrote: ↑17 Dec 2019, 10:16Hi Larry,
thank You very much for posting these pics, especially the rear of the Büssing "Paketwagen". Excuse me, please, a little correction. The cars don´t belong to the Feldpost (FP). The numbers on the license plates are field postcodes (F.P. , Feldpostnummern). Here the number 20712 is the postcode of the 9th rifle brigade of the 9th Panzerdivision.
Best regards
Bert
Cheers,
Larry

Hi uncle,
Thanks very much for posting that. I am now able to correctly ID the photo below as an AEG: There is very little information available on these.

Hi uncle, hi Max,
thank You very much for posting these pics of AEG Reichspost vehicles. I could find another pic with these vehicles from 1929 "proud parcel postmen with their electric carts". Maybe it is the 1,5-tonner electric cart developped by AEG about 1925 (source: "Taschenbuch Deutscher LKW-Bau" by Wolfgang H. Gebhardt). Source of the pic: https://dgpt.org/produkt/vor-dem-boom-p ... hrhundert/
Best regards

Hi Max,
sorry, but I don´t agree with You according the pic # 38 You posted 07 January. I think it is a Mercedes-Benz type Lo 3750. Here a pic of this bus.
Best regards
Bert

Hi Bert,
Thanks for those L 1000 photos. Here is a factory photo of a similar but older model of the Reichspost.

Hi Max,
thank You very much for posting this excellent pic of a Mercedes-Benz type L 1000 Reichspost. Here another interesting pic with such vehicles of the Reichpost, but here used as ambulances. Source of the pic: "Lastkraftwagen der Wehrmacht" by Reinhard Frank. Here the text to the pic: These Mercedes-Benz type L 1000 Express postal vans (1926 - 34) painted in red of the Reichspostwere running in the motor ambulance platoon 54 of the 1st mountain division, as a "Krankenkraftwagen" Kfz. 31 with a bad suspension. Parking in front of the Dukla Pass in the autumn 1939.
Nest regards
