Hi-
I am looking for a Puteaux SA 18 sight reticle image from any of the tanks it was used on, as well as one for the L/35 37 mm SA38,

If it used and I believe it did the APX 739 optic then it looks like this:

Re: Puteaux SA 18 Sight Recticle
My notes say the 37mm SA 38 had a APX L.767 sight which is suppose to be a "+" style sight. I don't have that particular sight thus didn't post. I'm guessing that the above reticle is for a SA35 gun.

The 710 might look something like this.
Note that the 200 mils can be converted to degrees and is equivalent to a FOV of 11.25°You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Puteaux SA 18 Sight Recticle
Unfortunately I don't have a APX 710 example so I am not sure.
Incidentally I noticed the pictures of the optics in this & the Souma related duel books seem to suddenly become very small, pixelated, & low grade somewhat conveniently right where the important parts of the reticle reside whereas other optic pictures in that series are quite large and clear.... The cynical part of me makes me think they did this because the optics might be in error....
Mobius's excerpt is from a manual featuring French APX optics I think some of them might be bunker related however.

Talk about your fake news. Those milliradian designs were German. If they were actually from a Char B then it was a German captured one with jury-rigged German sights.
