I am working on different things, so its not an easy question to answer, but thanks

In this specific case I am trying to figure out when the First Tigers (I and or II), entered combat in Normandy, or entered there operational area

part of that was also discovering How many

Some of the books I have are vague on some details

And Thanks to the Help I have gotten thus far most of those gray areas have been sorted out

Depends how you define 'Normandy'. 13 to sPz Abt 503 and they fought in July. Then 15 each for sP zAbt 503 and sSS Pz Abt 101/501 that saw action in late August. 5 in (fkl) 316 that were found wrecked west of Paris. 48 TII in France July-Aug 1944.
