I should state it was knocked out on 25 September 1944 at Arnhem.

"A destroyed Tiger II in operation Market Garden. It sat on the edge of the British perimeter, adjacent to a farm building & a school "Klompenschool". The tank belonged to one of 14 tanks of the 3/s.Pz.Abt.506. This unit was part of the 9th. SS Panzer Division Hohenstaufen & was sent to Oosterbeek. It was part of KGr. Von Allwörden. On Sept 25th it was knocked by the British. The tank burned out completely, even the Zimmerit layer melted down. It had a black number on the turret & a yellow edge."

According to Marcel Zwarts in " German Armored Units at Arnhem" this was knocked "hit by several anti-tank shells."

This Tiger Ausf B was knocked out by Lt Donaldson and LBdr Dickson of the 1st Airlanding Light Regiment RA on 25 September 1944. They first used a 6Pdr Anti Tank Gun (which proved ineffective), before moving onto a 75mm Pack Howitzer (fring 6 shots which set the tank on fire, before jamming), and then finished off the destruction with a few rounds from a PIAT
