From Panzer tracks:

Presumably this included the Frontal raised Drivers Plate and the Visors ?

The Cheeks as well

But the rest of the Plates being 8 mm ?

Also, its a bit vague on when the 14.5 mm plate was introduced, and the 30mm plate was

Was the 30 mm plate introduced in 39 and the Radio added in 42?

Thanks, Brady

Yes,

It would be helpful if there was a diagram showing what plates were 30 mm, presumably, but what of the "?"

The 8-wheel 232 had the nose plate, turret front and gun mantlet upgraded to 30mm, turret sides from 8 to 10mm. I expect the changes to 222 to be similar.

The driver's plate? I recall the upgrade being somewhat limited.

Panzer Tracts 13-2 (8-wheel PzSpW) does not have an armor layout drawing but from the multiple-view gfx by H.Doyle it seems the driver front plate (that small plate with visors) was also strengthened to 30mm.

I'm not sure that is even possible. The visors have to have a very different look than the originals to be 30mm thick. I think I had to back away from the complete 30mm front, even on the glacis. What I came up with is just on the front upper and lower front hull. I would like to see some original documentation or if someone would find one and measure.
