Hi Marcus,

You have already 2 Panthers in Belgium on your website, you could add this third one who is located in Houfalize.

another good museum is in Diekirch, Luxembourg ... the best I ever visited, alas have no pictures.
3 floors : bottom one pak's,bike's soldiers and nice dioramas
2nd on tanks and other motorized vehicles
3rd maps and medals I believe.

Very nice dioramas and a good collection !
Also there is a hidden diorama in the museum, well not really hidden but easy to miss right at the entrance.

Also in La Gleize, Musee Decembre 1944 : a King Tiger from Peipers group and in the cellar of the museum was his HQ. Nice displays too so worth visiting aswell. I especially like the SS diorama on groundfloor level ... .

A panther is also located in the village of Houffalize with a story to it.
Nice looking panther (and hard when you bump your knee on the MG outlet on turret), story goes that the panther was fished out of the local river after the war and when they opened her up they found the crew still in there, well what was left of them, they drowned when their panther slipped of the bank and landed upside down in the river ... poor chaps !

These are sites I have visited and liked most.
Also found some more on this link about them :

http://home.wxs.nl/~whitestar/ardennes.htm

According to them the tank was on a bridge ... I recalled the sign stating otherwise but it was a few years ago when ?I still lived in Flanders.

Regards

Herr

Not a museum, but there is a StuG IIIG, a Comet and 2 Pak-40s used by the Finnish army in Hiukkavaara, Oulu, Finland.

I have an 8 Meg package that contains 91 jpegs I took at the Patton Museum, with explanations, etc. Is anyone interested? If so, how can I get them to you?
