Hi, Mike, thank for your answer. What I mean is why only deploy 16 x Aufklarungpanzer plus 9 sdkfz 250/9. and why put total 25 x Aufklarungpanzer in 1./Pz.Aufk Abt. It would save some Aufk.Pz in other division if it needed.

Regarding firepower, though its role played by them is obersve but still weak in modern battlefield, During Ardennes offensive, 5 out of 9 x 250/5 of Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler were DIY with 2cm Kwk.

Now that Feldgrau is up and running again we can see the issue list for the SdKfz 250/9 and read the reason why they worked in tandem with the vehicles equipped with larger radios. Of course the list misses out the vehicle which Hohenstaufen stole to use as substitutes for the SdKfz 250/10 !
