Hello,

Have a look in this thread. Several German Panzerdivisionen were formed/trained with French tanks. You will also find photos of converted tanks dedicated to the driving school (turretless tanks) :

David, where does these pictures come from? Which units are there? Any possibility to get a better scan of the second photo? I believe that one of the persons has a tank destruction badge. :)

Best regards/ Daniel

Munster Tank Museum

I just visited this museum this weekend and they have a very nice collection of tanks, plus this museum is on the grounds of the German Army Tank training school, which has been in operation for one hundred years. Here is their web page with phone numbers plus tanks from WWII with specifications http://www.munster.de/pzm/content/specials/pdm.htm.

They also have one room dedicated to uniforms and individual weapons from WWI through present, but a big layout of WWII Panzer Uniforms. They also have Rommels uniform and several other German generals from WWII.
