Rommel.
Hello enzus.
Many vehicules where used by Rommel in 1942.
The two most famous where Sd.Kfz 250/3 named Greif and Adler.
He used also the Kfz 15 m.E of the 15th Panzer Division.
Him and the General L.Crüwell used 2 Aec Dotchester armored commander vehicle captured at the 8th Army, those under the name of "MAX" and "Moritz".
There must be other vehicle used by Rommel, but these 5 vehicles are the most pictured with him or cited.
Cheers Patrice.

Rommel vehicles.
I find this picture on http://cosmos.oninetspeed.pt/dak/dak/rommelcars2.htm
Rommel could have also used the Sd.Kfz 250 named IGUE.

Sd.Kfz.250's
See the link...
http://www.AFRIKAKORPS.org/adlerigelgreif.htm
MAX was used by Rommel until it either hit a mine or received some schrapnel from an exploding howitzer round... the explosion injured his driver and blew the heel off of Rommel's left boot.
MORITZ was Crüell's unless Rommel wanted to borrow it or when they were meeting as you can see photos of them on it near Sollum...
The link explains a little about the 'named' Sd.Kfz. 250's/253's in DAK service...

MAX v. MORITZ...
Patrice's initial photo above is actually MORITZ and not MAX to make things more clear... and that is actally Crüell on the top of the vehicle and not Rommel...
I posted up a page on the AFRIKAKORPS.Org website at:
http://www.afrikakorps.org/mammoth.htm to help for interested readers to be able tell the difference in the DAK acquired AEC/Dorchesters in photos... Crüell's Mammoth is marked with the "White" 2 and what should be Streich's is marked with the "White" 3...
There are more photos to post but appreciate the latest! Thanks!!!

Re: vehicles of the Rommel's kampfstaffel in 1942
Rommel also had combat units attached as a Protection unit.
Interestingly, to keep from drawing tanks away from the always-short-of-tanks Panzer divisions, his Kampfstaffel used captured British tanks.
At one point the unit had 12 MkIII Cruisers and 3 Crusaders. The unit also had a battery of 20mm flak, a battery of 88mm flak, 4 50mm PaKs, and a captured 25pdr. Plus a company from the Brandenburg regiment.
There was more than one occasion where the kampfstaffel was attacked by British tanks; they were driven off with casualties.

Hi,
Note that a Panzer Korps Stab can have something like a 100 plus armoured and softskin vehicles at its disposal, for all sorts of purposes, communications be a big part of it of course, as was protection. also a flight of light aircraft.
Somewhere there is a KstN OOB document that details a Panzer Korps content.
cheers Leonard paul
