That are some nice then and now pictures of german armour in Berlin

I love the Tiger 1 picture standing near the Brandenburger Tor .

You almost get the feeling that this picture was taken not so long a go.
Even the trees have the right hight,offcourse they are new planted .

Not so much a Vehicle based picture, but a good 'Then and Now' all the same. Friedrichstraße Station/Bahnhof, circa Berlin 1944-45.

Nice post of the Friedrichstrasse U-Bahn bridge. I've been there and just to the left, out of sight, is a plaque commemorating two 18 year old german soldiers hanged there in (I think) April 1945 for "desertion"...a sad testimony to the stupidity of it all. Thanks for the pictures.

Photos from then and now taken at Nemyriv, where in a tank battle Germans defeated the Soviets. Whats interesting is that NOTHING in the village changed over last 60 years and it look exactly the same as in the war photos.
