Tis a Jadgpanther (proably spelt wrong) it wasn't produced in mass quantities....but it's quality was great. A good machine, good armor, good gun.

It's a Jagdpanther V assault gun which had sloping armor on a Panther chassis and an 88mm gun. Sweet.

1944 - German Jagdpanther SP AT 8.8cm Gun (SdKfz173) Mounted on Panther chassis

Armament : 1- 8.8cm PaK43 L/71 gun
1 - 7.92mm MG

Engine: Maybach HL230P30, V-12, gas, 700 hp
Speed: 28 mph
Range: 130 miles
Crew: 5
Weight: 51 short tons

"Heavily armed formidable tank hunter. Feared and respected by Allied tank crews. The 88mm gun was capable of destroying any Allied tank in the field. Low silhouette tank destroyer with great mobility. Superb fighting vehicle. One of the most famous AFVs of WWII."

Thanks. Those 88's were a caution, by all accounts.
