3: Most probably a very rare Horch type 830 BL Kübelwagen. This was converted from the civilian model and had some differences to the Horch 830 R Kübelwagen.

Horch type 830 BL Kübelwagen - it would be great if this is the answer!

Hi Henning,

to Your trailer. It´s a so called Öltank- und Kühlmittelwärmewagen of the Luftwaffe (Fl 65851).

I´ll post a pic and a drawing of such a trailer (source: Waffen-Arsenal Sonderband S - 19: Fahrzeuge und Geräte auf Flugplätzen der deutschen Luftwaffe" by Joachim Dressel and Manfred Griehl.

Regards

Bert

Hello All:

Regarding the Horch Kubelwagen, the last one, were they not also used by the civilian fire and police forces??
I would imagine someone could maybe track down that registration plate which is obviously civilian to determine the original owner(s).

Hi Henning,

to the information about the fire service vehicles: in the Waffen-Arsenal You can find two numbers of KFZ.:
Kfz. 323 and 343: Tankspritze: mittl. gel. LKW: Krupp L 3 H 163, Opel Blitz 3t, Henschle 33 D 1
Kfz. 345: Löschkraftwagen: l. LKW (o): Opel Blitz 1,5t and Borgward 1t

I scanned two pics of the booklet , one of a Tankkraftspritze, the other of a Loeschwagen.
The text to the pics:
pic 1: Die Flugleitung mit angebautem Hangar in Magdeburg-Süd. Im Vordergrund eine Tankkraftspritze (Kfz. 343) der Platzfeuerwehr.
pic 2: Feuerbekämpfung auf einem Feldflugplatz mittels eines Schaumlöschers, der leicht auch im Mannschaftszug eingesetzt werden konnte.
Maybe it´s interesting for You.

Greetings

Bert

Hello Stefan

First I think its exactly a SdAh 13
Source: http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... h__13.html

But there are difference! Early or late version, field modified?
What is the opinion of Leo Niehorster I think he is an expert about Engineer equipement.

Hello Stefan.

1: Could be an Sd. Ah. 13. But I'm not sure about this.

2:Mercedes-Benz Type 170 VK Kübelwagen

http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... 70_vk.html

3: Wanderer W 22 Kübelwagen of the RAD

http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... wagen.html

4: Wanderer W 11 10/50 PS od 12/60PS. Can't see the typical front fender. From the type of superstructure, I would say it is an 10/50 PS.

Many thanks for your help, Henning & Holger!

I also thought that No.1 could be a (modification of the) Sonderanhänger 13.

Regarding the other 3 vehicles – ein dickes DANKESCHÖN, Holger! Concerning the W 22, now I can even read the Sütterlin (man I hate Sütterlin) text on the backside of the photo: Unser Wanderer, Sommer 1936

Hello Bert,

for me it looks more like a Büssing-NAG 550. Also possible is an all wheel driven Büssing-NAG 504. The vehicle has the open Einheitsführerhaus of the Wehrmacht.

Regards, Holger.
