Hi Max, Sturm and Kerry,
I assume it is neither a Wanderer nor a Mercedes but a Stoewer M 12 (Kfz. 15). The Mercedes 260 has more and narrower ventilation slots on the side of the hood.

The Picture you posted is of a Towing Crane I think it is used for heavy cargo and light vehicle repair, In short it is a light crane I think that picture is from 1943-45 Most Likely 44

You are very welcome.
A bit of extra information, before 1945 the car bore the name Standard Flying 8. After WW2 the name changed to Standard 8hp, the "Flying" title was dropped from all Standard car types produced post-war.
