Hi Sturm 78,

to Your question about the Mercedes-Benz truck. Sorry for the late response.
I´m not sure, but I think it is the type Lo 3750. One difficulty is the cabine, not usual, maybe made in another country, because more than 600 pieces of the type Lo 3500 and Lo 3750 were exported to foreign countries. And it is a pity, but I cannot decipher the numbers on the door for the Eigengewicht and Gesamtgewicht. With these numbers it would be clear. For me two marks could be significant: here the headlights are mounted not so high and the distance indicators are higher than on the type Lo 3500.

Best regards

Bert

I've looked at this for some time to try to figure out just what is going on here. French officers inspecting who, when, where? I don't recognize the propaganda trucks though the badges look similar to Hanomag? I'm intrigued by this one. Can anyone help me?

Austrian officers inspecting Hungarian troops (license plates with three-colour shields) with Polish trucks?

Hi Max,

a really interesting pic! Thanks for posting.
The officers are Hungarian. Here a pic with Hungarian officers in their uniform.
They are inspecting their own troops.
I think that the chassis was made by the Polish company Państwowe Zakłady Inżynierii (PZInż) in Warsaw, but the superstructure in Hungary.

Best regards

Thanks for your analysis, Bert. Some MB trucks are often difficult to identify...

Hi all,

An image from Ebay. I think it is a Wanderer WW 2,5L PKW but this car have two rows of louvres on engine hood, while other cars of this model had only a wider row. Does this feature indicate a particular year of manufacture?
